Some days ago three firefighters came to our school to inform us about their job and to talk about their idea of hero. The fact that they don’t consider themselves as heroes, but just as normal people who do a job they like, impressed us so much.
In our opinion they really are heroes, in fact we don’t think that you need to have something special that no one has, to be one. They save others’ lives by risking too much, their own lives, for example, and that’s enough to us. They make a difference in our society, they rescue people that have, sometimes, to face dangerous situations. They said that in their opinion heroes are just normal humans like everyone else, they just do little deeds that don’t seem to be important, but they really are; and they also said that teamwork is essential, it’s very difficult.
